The problem
Your ads should not be a black box.
Six common faults sink more paid accounts than bad luck ever does. None of them shows on the overview screen, which is how an account can look busy and lose money at the same time.
Wasted ad spend
Ads showing for searches you never chose, because nobody reads the search terms report.
Poor targeting
Locations set to people interested in an area rather than in it, and audiences too broad to convert.
Weak landing pages
Paid clicks sent to a homepage that loads slowly and does not repeat what the ad promised.
Unclear attribution
Platforms counting page views or duplicate forms as leads, so every decision rests on the wrong number.
Rising costs per click
Low Quality Scores and one campaign doing five jobs, so the account pays more for the same position.
No plan to scale
Budget spread evenly instead of moved each month to what is producing the cheapest qualified result.

How it works
Four steps, in this order.
- 01
Audit
We go through your campaigns, tracking, landing pages and the searches your competitors are buying, and write down what we find.
- 02
Strategy
One agreed success measure, what you can afford per lead or sale, and a campaign structure built around what each click is worth.
- 03
Launch
Tracking fixed first, then campaigns built and launched with conversion in mind: matched ads, matched pages, sensible budgets.
- 04
Optimise
Weekly search term reviews, bid and budget changes, ad and page tests, and a monthly decision on where the next pound goes.
Real results
Work by the team behind Bristol PPC Agency.
These are real websites and SEO projects by Webso Digital, the team that runs this agency, with the figures it has published. Google Ads case studies will join them as clients agree to share their account numbers.

What could your budget produce?
Move the sliders to see clicks, conversions, revenue, ROAS and cost per acquisition for any budget. It is arithmetic on your assumptions, not a forecast; the audit replaces the assumptions with your real data.
Use your account's average. Keyword Planner's top-of-page bid range is a fair guide for a new account.
The share of clicks that become a lead or a sale.
Order value for a shop; the value of a won customer for a service business.

Estimates, not a forecast or a guarantee. Real campaigns rarely convert evenly: cost per click and conversion rate move with the season, the competition and the landing page. Use it to sense-check a budget, then let real data replace every assumption.
Why us
How we work, in six commitments.
Business numbers first
Every account is run to cost per qualified lead or to return on ad spend against your margin. Clicks are a diagnostic, never the result.
Reporting you can read
A written monthly report: what changed, why, what it did, and what we will do next. No dashboard dumps.
Your accounts, always
Ad accounts, tracking and landing pages stay in your name. If you leave, you take everything with you.
No mystery contracts
Terms agreed in writing before anything starts, with the fee and what it includes set out plainly.
The page as well as the ad
The team behind this site builds fast websites too, so a weak landing page gets fixed, not just mentioned.
One person who knows your account
You talk to the person who builds and runs your campaigns, not an account manager relaying messages.
Reporting
One dashboard, one number, no mystery.
Every client gets a live dashboard with spend, clicks, click-through rate, cost per click, conversions, cost per acquisition, revenue and ROAS by campaign, plus a written monthly summary of what changed and why.
- • Figures pulled from the ad platforms and GA4, checked against your own leads or sales.
- • Brand, prospecting and remarketing shown separately, so one cannot flatter another.
- • The report ends with next month's plan, so you know what you are paying for.

About
A small team that treats your budget like its own.
Bristol PPC Agency is run by Webso Digital, a small UK digital team led by Daniel Stoychev, a developer who also runs paid search. We work remotely with businesses in Bristol, the South West and across the UK, and we do not pretend to have an office on every high street.
What we do have is a habit of checking the numbers twice, writing down what we change and why, and building the landing page and the tracking ourselves when they are the real problem. That is usually where the budget was leaking.
More about usPPC questions, answered
How much should I spend on PPC?
Enough to buy a readable number of clicks on your main searches each month, usually a few hundred over the first month or two. Multiply the typical cost per click for your searches by the clicks you need to win a few customers; the PPC calculator on this page does the arithmetic.
How quickly can I see results?
Ads can show the day a campaign launches, and search campaigns usually produce readable data within two to four weeks. Most accounts settle into a steady cost per result over the first two to three months as automated bidding learns.
Do you manage Google Ads?
Yes: Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, Demand Gen and YouTube campaigns, plus conversion tracking and landing pages. Google Ads is where most of our clients' budgets go first.
Do you manage Meta Ads?
Yes, Facebook and Instagram, including the pixel and Conversions API setup, prospecting, retargeting and creative testing.
Do you work with small businesses?
Yes. Small budgets need narrow focus, so we start with the one or two most profitable services and add more once they work. If paid search is not the right use of your money yet, the audit says so.
How do you report results?
A written monthly report against the one number we agreed at the start, such as cost per qualified lead or ROAS, with what changed, why, and what happens next, plus a call to go through it.
